H is for…

April 9, 2013

H is for Haiku,
Seventeen syllables on
Seasons, or some such.

ImageH is for loving
Humanity with all its
Flaws, for we are one.

H is also for
Happiness and its pursuit

H is for Humor
Writing funny is hard work
Read Lady or Not.

H is for Hope, the
Last gift left behind, and I
Hope you enjoyed these.

    Her Supreme Highness

Oh, I already know; but don’t worry, she’s always picking on mine too, especially their lack of references to nature or seasons, which don’t make them “true” haiku. But according to what I read, there is no literal translation, because the concept of syllables is not the same in Japanese as English.
